Prof. Stephen Robinovitch
Stephen Robinovitch is a Professor and Canada Research Chair at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Vancouver, Canada. For the past 22 years, his research has focused on the cause and prevention of falls and fall-related injuries in older adults. He currently leads a program in "Technology for Injury Prevention in Seniors", involving long-term care facilities who participate as real-life laboratories for capturing objective evidence of falls, and exploring the clinical effectiveness of hip protectors and compliant flooring. He also directs The Injury Prevention and Mobility Laboratory at SFU, which has unique facilities for studying falls and measuring the protective value of hip protectors.
He received his B.A.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT/Harvard. Between 1995-2000 he was an Assistant Professor In-Residence in Orthopedics at the University of California, San Francisco. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis of the Canadian Institute of Health Research.
Prof. Daniel Reis
Prof. Reis is a senior expert in hip fracture surgery. He served as Head of the Orthopedic Dept. at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa and President of the Israeli Orthopedics Association.

Ilan Neugarten
Ilan Neugarten joined the Viola Group in 2000 as a partner of DOR Ventures, a VC fund focusing on imaging technologies. During his period at DOR Ventures he led various investments including medical imaging ventures.
Prior to DOR Ventures, Ilan spent 20 years at Scitex holding a variety of positions. From 1998 to 2000, he was General Manager of the Print On-Demand Solutions Division and led a major turn around, making the division profitable within six months and signing a multi-million dollar OEM agreement. From 1992 to 1998, he was General Manager of Scitex Japan KK and a board member of Nihon Scitex Ltd. He led growth from $30 million in revenue to $105 million and concluded the largest Scitex OEM sale, valued at $55 million (to NTT). As part of his tenure in Scitex and Dor Ventures, Ilan has gained considerable experience in the medical device industry.
Following his success in making investments in medical imaging companies, Ilan currently manages the Viola Group medical device investment program. In this capacity he identifies and leads investments in early stage Israeli medical device companies. He then assists these companies through their development and growth stage as an active board member.
Ilan received his BSc in electronics from the Technion and MBA from Boston University.
Dr. Yoram Romem
Yoram has over 30 years of managerial experience in the global hi-tech industry. He has served as President, CEO and Chairman of international software companies, including Sapiens (NASDAQ: SPNS), ESI (acquired by Formula), Transtech (acquired by Formula), OmniVee (acquired by DVTel) and Profitect.
He served as the CIO of the Israeli Air Force in the rank of colonel.Yoram was one of the founders of PAnGO (International cellular parking leader), and currently he serves as the Chairman of several hi-tech companies.
Yoram holds a B.Sc. Summa Cum Laude in Computer Sciences from the Technion and a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science from the Bar-Ilan University. Yoram serves in the Advisory Board of Computer Sciences in the Technion.
